The Manco Rail 1250 Lowbed Transporter is the "flag ship" of a range of "State of the Art" mobile rail and road/rail equipment, designed and improved over the years due to constant consultation with end users expressing their ultimate operational preferences.

Today the equipment range starts with a full range of rail and sleeper laying plant, such as rail carrying trolleys, concrete surge silos, through to sleeper and plinth laying straddle cranes. For Catenary installation and maintenance we can provide proven plant with a full range of mobile and truck mounted elevated work platforms through to a range of scissor platforms. The unique feature of Manco Rail EWPs and Scissors is the ability to operate all units from the work platform with full network compliance, due to extensive fail safe braking and other work safe features.

Our rail lowbed transporters have capacities up to 50 tonnes along with 40' ISO compliant twist locks and a full range of radio remote knuckle boom cranes. As component supply, Manco Rail modules are available with hydrostatic, traction and friction drives and cater for all track gauges, starting at 1000mm. Our wire tensioning systems start from 5kN through to 40kN with up to three wire simultaneous operation. We offer a range of remote control drum stands, winch sets and demountable drum carriers, so all wiring aspects from initial install through to wire replacement can be catered for.
